Who we are
Aurelia Byron (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a privately owned, short-term accommodation residence located at Unit 104, 137–139 Jonson Street, Byron Bay NSW 2481. We are exclusively represented for bookings by Beach Houses of Byron (“BHOB”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with: our informational website and direct enquiries (email/phone/social) managed by Aurelia Byron; and reservations, payments, cancellations and guest communications managed by Beach Houses of Byron as our booking agent.
We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
How bookings are handled & whose policy applies
All reservations, guest profiles, payments and cancellations are handled by Beach Houses of Byron. When you book or pay, you provide your personal information to BHOB and it is handled under BHOB’s Privacy Policy. Aurelia Byron receives selected booking information from BHOB (e.g., guest name, stay dates, contact details, special requests) so we can prepare your stay and uphold house rules. Where there is any inconsistency about the handling of booking/payment data, BHOB’s Privacy Policy prevails.
